Steel Strip Expansion Joint is a specialized movement joint assembly designed to safely absorb heat-induced expansion and contraction of construction materials, vehicle vibration, structural deflection, and ground settlement or seismic movement.

Design Features:
Features a continuous microwave-vulcanized EPDM/chloroprene sealing element mechanically locked into heavy hot-dip galvanized steel edge beam profiles with welded anchor studs. Anchored firmly into bridge deck concrete to form a 100% watertight barrier protecting bridge piers, girders, and abutments from water penetration and corrosion damage.
