Detailed Product Description & Engineering Overview

Elastomeric Bridge Bearing Pads are modern, highly reliable bridge bearings manufactured based on international specifications including British Standard (BS 5400), AASHTO M251, and European Norms (EN 1337).

Internal Structure & Mechanics:
Constructed as a monolithic sandwich unit of internal mild steel shims vulcanized with high-grade neoprene/chloroprene rubber under extreme hydraulic pressure and temperature. Elastomeric bearing pads compress under heavy vertical dead and live loads while accommodating horizontal bridge deck rotation and thermal expansion shear movements.

Economical Advantage:
Provides the most economical, maintenance-free bearing solution used in large span highway bridges, flyovers, railway overpasses, and heavy industrial buildings.
